This course looks at a wide range of elements in relation to greenwashing, such as; what it is, why organisations greenwash and the different forms it shows up. From regulation and guidelines through to exploring examples and gaining the knowledge to identify it and to the best of your ability prevent it.


Greenwashing 101 - 3 hours

Greenwashing 101 is designed for Marketers at all levels and any business function who wants to know more about greenwashing.

Greenwashing can come from any function in an organisation and is the responsibility of the business as a whole, although it is more often than not associated with marketing and communications. This three-hour online course looks at greenwashing, what it is, why organisations do it, the different forms it shows up in, and why it is such a damaging practice. You’ll look at the regulations and guidelines being introduced to try and stop it, explore real-life examples, and gain the knowledge to identify it and, to the best of your ability prevent it.
