Circular Economy - aware of this shared knowledge base?

What an adventure (or mission), writing a book on Sustainable Marketing has become. It’s almost as if once you’ve done the research and really looked at the facts and stats - there’s just no turning back, for us, the ball has started rolling.

Once eyes are opened, continuous education makes it ever more difficult to sweep the reality of climate crisis under the carpet and bury one’s head in the sand and expect someone else to clear up the mess. Squinting starts to become painful.

To this end, we’re going to continuously share useful resources and links that we find via our blog (as well as other musings no doubt).

For example: We saw on a LinkedIn post by circular economy expert, Catherine Weetman just a few weeks ago, that only 8% of people were aware of a directory of circular economy case studies. Effectively, a circular economy shared knowledge base. More info can be found by visiting: https://knowledge-hub.circle-lab.com/. I’ve already shared this with our local counsellor who is looking to support a start up with a new product who is keen to start with the end in mind when it comes to circular economy, but didn’t really know where to start.

Asking questions such as - what’s the end of life of our product?, and where-else can we contribute to sustainability as part of a more circular economy? are powerful questions to drive innovation and thinking. You’ll find some excellent real world case studies in this rich and wonderful resource - and of course, you can also add to the collective knowledge by sharing the work you’re up to too!

Back soon with more… Michelle
