WOW, well this was a surprise. Gemma and I were thrilled to be awarded the Special Award for Outstanding Contribution to Marketing by the Women in Marketing Awards 2022.
“The Special Award for Outstanding Contribution to Marketing (Brand) is awarded to a female (or in our case two females) who has contributed significantly to marketing in recent years, as a result of the ground-breaking work they have achieved for their own brand or organisation or for the industry as a whole. This will be someone who inspires greatness, who challenges the norms of marketing, is passionate about the development of women within the industry and whose energy and commitment has delivered outstanding results.”
How wonderful to be recognised and acknowledged in this way.
It was great to meet many other inspirational women and share the celebration and success. It’s so easy to keep on doing the doing without stopping to pause and acknowledge the progress, impact and results one is achieving. And so this is a special award and we are both totally thrilled.
